Apart from sampling food and drink when I travel, I also visit local casinos.  You cant help keeping a mental log of all the casinos and comparing casinos from all around the world.  Unfortunately most of the time they are so busy trying to out-do each other, they end up being the same and offering the same things.

Apart from a few exceptions that usually have taken up a local theme that is unique.  Or others that offer such fantastic, professional and friendly service, that they stand out in your mind, even though their product is ordinary.

Ok so there has to be some standards when it comes to the casino game rules… so that when you walk in and play blackjack it is understood by all the visitors, no matter where they are from.  I understand that.  But when it comes to decoration, comforts, service and themes… then surely there could be more originality.  Or does everyone want to be like Vegas???

That’s the thing with globalization, we are all becoming the same.  Metamorphism into the same grey, uniform, undistinguishable blobs around the world…  OUCH!!
